I
actually built this model when I was about 13 or
14 years old. It is the plabe that Captain A. Roy Brown was flying
when he supposedly shot down Manfred, Baron Richtoffen, aka "The
Red Baron." Not bad for a kid. It was fully rigged and I
had even built little wire eyelets for the wires to tie onto.
Sadly the years were unkind to this model, and in storage it was
broken into quite a few pieces. Of course it became a tangled
mess of threads. I finally resoted it about 25 years later. It
wasn't easy!
