U.S.S. Enterprise N.C.C. 1701-C

This is my build up of an 18" resin model at 1/1400 scale. It's a decent kit, aside from a few bubble holes here and there, but there is a serious problem with the weight of the power nacells. They are so massive compared to the struts that hold them that the struts tend to bend downward under their weight. It really needs some betal bracing to prevent this. The kit is sold with a box cover that spoofs AMT/ERTL and Star Trek both. The Title of the kit is "KERT RATS CENTERPRISE," and it has the logo "TMT" instead of "AMT" as another "in-joke."
