In the furure we will spread to the stars, founding colonies that will become their own nations, and possibly finding other starfaring races. But what security can there be in the void so vast? It may become necessary to establish a series of watch stations that monitor the great emptiness between the stars. Any rock big enough to be a stabil platform may house an interstellar watchtower.
