Digital enhancement to extend the top.

This painting was created for the cover of Analog Magazine, but the real painting was done on a shorter rectangle format. I had started on a 16X20 panel, but when I got to working on it I decided that I really wanted to keep all of the computers on the sides in the picture. That meant I had to stretch the top. So my solution was to finish the 16X20 painting, but then scan it and clone the top upward digitally. Here is what the actual painting looks like:

I also had the job to do the B&W interior illustration for the opener. This was created digitally from pictures, and painted objects.
