This page is part of the introduction to the Middle Kingdom's Great Booke, a master work created by several volunteer artisans. This book is a thick, large format medieval book of the ceremonies of the SCA Middle Kingdom, all hand calligraphed, illuminated, and bound in wood with a leather spine. This page is written in the type of script used commonly on the British Isles in the 8th to 11th centuries
The water masses on this map are laid in with pure malachite, a powdered semi precious stone. The corner blocks are 23k gold.
