Henschel Hs 132

Huma Models 1/72 scale

The Hs 132 never flew in combat, because the war ended before that could happen, but the Russians captured the prototype in May of 1944. It was designed as a high speed replacement for the cumbersome Ju 87 Stukas. By having the pilotlay in a prone position it was considered that he could withstand the higher G forces of a faster dive. This smaller fuselage and higher speed would make it a tough target to intercept or defend against.
