I had just done several SF covers
for Revell/Monogram when they asked me if I would do the Babylon
5 Starfury cover for the second release special collector's edition
of the kit. It was something I really wanted to do because I really
love the show. I also know the guy who did the decal layout for
both the Starfury kit and the Babylon 5 Space Station kit. His
name is Thom Sasser, and he is the proprietor of Thomas
Models. He has a great website dedicated to SF models, so
check it out! Anyway, Thom got me some pre-production decals that
he ran off so I could use them to do the build up of the model
I would use for reference.
In the meantime, I was
working on a couple of fantasy covers for Agents Of Gaming, who
happen to be the company producing the B5 Wars miniatures game.
I discovered that I like their little models, so I am working
on putting some more of them together. There are some examples
below.
